Licensing a new kind of machine

Any power-producing fusion machine must be licensed to operate, and one sited near data centers or cities faces particular scrutiny. Fusion’s regulatory framework is still maturing, which makes early, honest engagement with regulators part of readiness rather than an afterthought.
