01Development stage and basis

Kronos's designs are grounded in decades of experimental fusion science and in the founding team's direct experience across many of the world's fusion programs. The specific integrated machines described here — the HYPERION breeder and the Kronos generator — are at the conceptual-design and simulation stage and have not yet been built and operated as complete, integrated systems. The figures, performance values, and results presented — including gain, power, field, and output numbers — are computed design targets and simulation outputs drawn from our 2026 pre-publication research record; certain results are identified as "requirement-class" (specified but not yet experimentally demonstrated). The novelty of Kronos is its integrated architecture; the underlying physics and many component results draw on published experiments and prior work rather than on unproven assumptions.

Kronos products and technologies may be protected by one or more patents and pending patent applications in the United States and other jurisdictions. This section is provided for purposes of virtual patent marking under 35 U.S.C. § 287(a):

• U.S. Patent No. 12,009,112 — high-field superconducting (REBCO) magnet system.
• Additional U.S. and international patent applications are pending. "Patent pending" notices, where used, refer to such applications.
