Tritium is stockpile-relevant, so Kronos handles it with accountancy and restraint and never discusses weapons design.

A sensitive product, handled with restraint

The breeder produces a tritium-class product on the order of 4 kg/yr. Tritium has legitimate civilian uses and is also relevant to the nuclear stockpile, which makes stewardship a matter of both safety and responsibility. Kronos's stewardship posture combines rigorous material accountancy with strict limits on what it will discuss.

What stewardship means here

Civilian and stockpile roles kept distinct

A domestic civilian tritium source can relieve pressure on constrained supply for lawful purposes, including national programs. Kronos describes this at the level of supply and stewardship only. It does not discuss how tritium is used in any weapon, does not name affiliations, and does not present itself as anything other than a responsible producer operating under applicable law and safeguards. Tritium stewardship is the clearest example of the dual-use posture in practice: real defense relevance, discussed with deliberate restraint.
