The concept

Neutron fluence, thermal cycling, and stress histories accumulate as damage. The twin turns sensor streams into remaining-useful-life estimates per component and schedules swaps before margins are crossed.

How Kronos uses it

A consumable centrepost swapped on prognosis keeps availability high across a fleet, because maintenance is planned from the twin's forecast rather than from failures.

Forecasts are model-based and improve as real operating data arrives after first tritium.
