The Burner — Aegis & MetroVolt

A Generator on 1.66 Acres

The burner's folded footprint is small enough to site where power is actually needed.

Folded into its installation, an Aegis generator occupies about 1.66 acres. A long mirror does not have to be a long building — the central cell can be folded into a compact site plan, which is what makes fixed-site defense power practical.

The science

The central cell's length is a magnetic geometry, not a straight-line building requirement; the machine can be folded and stacked into a site footprint far smaller than its unrolled length would suggest. The result is a generator footprint measured in acres, not miles.

Why it matters

Siting is a real constraint for installation power. A 1.66-acre footprint fits inside existing fence lines, which is the difference between a generator you can place at the point of use and one you cannot.

Straight answersThe footprint is a folded-geometry estimate for the fixed-site configuration; detailed site engineering is a downstream task. The figure is a design-layout result, not a permitted plan.
