The Burner's Central Cell

The long, uniform-field section where most of the burner's fusion happens.

Field
~17 T
Length
55–1400 m

The central cell is the burner's long, uniform-field core where the bulk of D–³He fusion occurs, running 55 m to 1400 m depending on the product. It is the simplest, most repeatable part of the machine — the reason the burner scales by length.

Plugs and expanders cap it at each end.
