Plasma Density

How many fuel nuclei occupy each cubic metre; fusion power scales with its square.

Burner density
2.6e20 m^-3

Density sets the reaction rate — fusion power scales roughly with density squared. Tokamaks face the Greenwald density limit; mirrors do not. The burner operates at a design density of 2.6e20 m^-3.

Density is one leg of the Lawson triple product and is traded against temperature and confinement time in the design.
