Loop Voltage
The toroidal voltage that drives and sustains ohmic plasma current.
The loop voltage is the electromotive force around the torus that drives current in the plasma. During start-up the central solenoid supplies it; a steady-state machine minimises it by relying on bootstrap and non-inductive current drive.
