Kilo-Electron-Volt (keV)
The energy unit for plasma temperature; 1 keV is about 11.6 million kelvin.
Plasma temperatures are quoted in keV, where 1 keV ≈ 11.6 million kelvin. HYPERION runs near 15 keV; the D–³He burner far hotter at 90 keV, because its fuel's reactivity peaks higher.
