FLiBe

A molten lithium-beryllium fluoride salt used as breeder and coolant.

FLiBe (Li₂BeF₄) is a molten salt that can both breed tritium and carry heat, combining several blanket functions. It is one candidate breeding medium studied for D–T plants.
