Electron-Cyclotron Heating (ECRH)
Microwaves tuned to the electron gyrofrequency for precise, localised heating.
ECRH uses high-frequency microwaves at the electron gyrofrequency to deposit heat in a narrow, steerable location — useful for heating, current drive and stabilising instabilities.
