Externally Driven Current
The share of plasma current supplied by heating and waves.
The driven current is the non-bootstrap share of the plasma current, supplied by beams and RF. HYPERION drives the majority of its 9.86 MA externally, with 15.2% bootstrapped — a balance set by efficiency.
