About the role
Kronos builds the breeder first, from Q2 2027. You'll own systems integration and the FOAK program: the gate reviews, interfaces, schedule, and the construction-readiness discipline that gets steel in the ground on a de-risked plan.
What you'll do
- Own systems integration across magnets, vessel, fuel cycle, and controls.
- Run the gate-review program and manage cross-system interfaces.
- Build and hold the FOAK schedule and construction-readiness plan.
- Drive requirements, verification, and configuration management.
- Coordinate suppliers, long-lead items, and site readiness.
- Keep the plan honest — surface risks early, not late.
What you bring
- Experience delivering complex hardware or nuclear/energy megaprojects.
- Strong systems-engineering and project-management discipline.
- Familiarity with gate/stage-gate processes and requirements management.
- Calm, organized leadership under real constraints.
- Bonus: nuclear construction or first-of-a-kind program experience.
Compensation
Compensation discussed early in the process; California pay range provided on request.
