What green means
Green marks operations and ecosystem integration: the functions that keep the plant running as part of a larger system. Green concentrates at L7 and in the operations copilot at L5, and it is deliberately described by operational role only — dispatch timing, grid synchronization, maintenance sequencing — never by any financial figure.
What lives in green

Operations, not economics
Green answers operational questions — when to bring a unit to full power, when to schedule divertor inspection, how to sequence a fuel-cycle campaign. It never touches price, cost, or value; those are outside the architecture entirely. The operations copilot reasons about availability and timing, not markets.
Both machines and the fuel cycle
On the breeder, green coordinates the tritium and helium-3 balance produced by the fuel cycle — roughly a 4 kg/yr tritium class output and 1.97 kg/yr helium-3 — as a logistics and scheduling problem. On the burner, green schedules D-3He supply against the direct-energy-conversion train's operating windows.
