A shareable, interactive 3D machine model is a visualization: it makes a design legible to a broad audience while protecting sensitive detail.
A model people can hold
An interactive 3D model in the browser lets anyone rotate, section, and inspect a machine that exists only as a design. As a visualization it communicates geometry, scale, and the relationship of parts far better than static renders, and it invites the exploration that builds understanding.
Public and private builds
A public model must reveal enough to inform without exposing sensitive engineering. The practical answer is two builds from one source: a public build with overview geometry and vetted figures, and a private build with full component detail behind access control. The pipeline that generates the public build physically strips the detail rather than merely hiding it.
- Selectable components with identity, so parts can be named and measured.
- Cutaways and sections to reveal internal arrangement.
- Vetted annotations with units and provenance, no economics.
Honesty about status
The model represents a design and simulation, not built hardware. Every measurement is labeled as design or simulation output, and no net-gain-in-hardware claim is made before first tritium. This keeps the visualization credible.
Delivery
The model relies on WebGL, level-of-detail, and navigation to stay interactive on ordinary devices.
Kronos use
The Hyperion breeder and the burner generator are published as public browser models so a general audience can inspect the designs, with the full-detail build reserved for controlled access.
