The Gate Program (G1–G3)

Kronos advances through pre-registered gates, each retiring a specific risk. G1 tests confinement, G2 the magnet, G3 the fuel loop.

G1
Confinement testbed — an NT-ST; ~$0.5B, ~4 years
G2
Magnet & peak-field qualification (≥25 T; 24.6 T envelope)
G3
Fuel loop (>95% single-pass DIR)
Discipline
Predictions pre-registered, published regardless of outcome

Kronos structures its development as a gate program: a sequence of decision points, each of which retires a specific, load-bearing risk with a real experiment before the company commits to the next stage. The gates carry the pre-registered predictions that make the program falsifiable.
