AEGIS — The Defense Generator

AEGIS is Kronos's defense-oriented fusion generator — resilient, islandable power for defense applications, on the same S.M.A.R.T. architecture as MetroVolt.

Product
Defense-oriented fusion generator
Architecture
Kronos S.M.A.R.T. (shared with MetroVolt)
Focus
Resilient, islandable power for defense
Design tiers
~651–894 MWe class

AEGIS is the defense-oriented member of the Kronos product line — a fusion generator engineered for resilient, islandable power in demanding and mission-critical settings, built on the same S.M.A.R.T. architecture as the commercial MetroVolt. Sharing one validated design lets defense and commercial development reinforce each other rather than diverge.

AEGIS's design tiers target a roughly 651–894 MWe class of net output, emphasizing the attributes defense users value — firmness, resilience, and independence from fuel logistics and weather. As with MetroVolt, all figures are design-point values on a gate-adjudicated schedule and validated against the open simulation record, not claims about an existing machine. Kronos develops the defense line through strategic partnerships rather than open solicitation.
