The Kronos MetroVolt series is a single machine described end-to-end in four self-contained, cross-referenced papers — every claim traceable to the open 81-analysis deposit. Here is the map.
Part 1 — Integrated Design Basis: the frozen point, the consistency chain, the risk register, and the honesty rules everything else obeys. Part 2 — Confinement, Stability, and Current Drive: the H98 band, negative-triangularity physics, MHD limits, the 42.5 MA discipline. Part 3 — Fuel Cycle, Neutronics, and Magnets/Shield: helium-3 strategy, the 5.25% neutron budget and its dividends, REBCO magnets at 24.6 T, the multigroup shield. Part 4 — Direct Energy Conversion, Balance of Plant, and Economics: the two-posture power ledger, availability, the cost ladder and required-PPA band.
Around them: the combined preprint, the bound 81-simulation validation package, and the Zenodo deposit with MANIFEST.md mapping every S-number to runnable files.
Skeptics start with the deposit's run_all.py (43 scripts, one command). Physicists start with the Tier-2 decks for their own code. Economists start with the S63 ladder script. Everyone else can start with whitepaper 33 — the manifest tour — and follow curiosity from there.
