About the Role

Location: Remote / 20% Travel to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: Full-Time (6-Month Temp-to-Hire)


Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python-based software for fusion energy simulations and data analysis.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software aligns with scientific and engineering requirements.

  • Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability in processing large datasets.

  • Document software development processes and provide support for integration and deployment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in Python programming, with a focus on scientific computing or data analysis.

  • Proficiency in Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and Pandas.

  • Experience with software version control and collaborative development tools.
