About the Role

Location: Remote / 20% Travel to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: Full-Time (6-Month Temp-to-Hire)


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Matlab Simulink models for simulating the behavior of fusion energy systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers and physicists to integrate simulations into the overall reactor design process.

  • Optimize Simulink models for performance, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Provide technical support and documentation for Simulink models and simulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in Matlab Simulink programming and modeling.

  • Strong understanding of control systems, simulations, and energy systems.

  • Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink, with a focus on performance optimization.
