Systems, methods, and storage media for controlling a hoisting device for the installation or assembly of components in a fusion power plant are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain sets of component information; train a machine-learning model with the obtained sets of component information such that the machine-learning model predicts installation or assembly of one or more component of a fusion power plant; store the trained machine-learning model; and simulate, using the stored machine-learning model, operation of one or more hoisting device during installation or assembly of the one or more component of a fusion power plant.
