Systems, methods, and storage media for improving fusion energy output by simulating material interactions within a fusion generator are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain sets of fusion generator operation information; train a machine-learning model with the obtained sets of fusion generator operation information such that the machine-learning model predicts behavior of one or more wall, divertor, blanket, coil, fuel beam, and solenoid of the one or more fusion energy generator based on the one or more fusion process or component parameter; store the trained machine-learning model; and simulate, using the stored machine-learning model, interactions of the one or more wall, divertor, blanket, coil, fuel beam, and solenoid of the one or more fusion energy generator with one or more ion, electron, and neutron.
