Exemplary implementations may: distribute a plurality of particles along a surface of a component; determine, from a plurality of position sensors associated with the plurality of particles, a datum representative of the surface; identify a location of one or more of the plurality of particles spaced from the datum; and direct one or more of the plurality of particles to the location.
