The 2026 papers — HYPERION and the burner, submitted for peer review

Kronos's two-paper 2026 series — the HYPERION breeder and the D–³He tandem-mirror burner — is submitted for peer review, with open data released alongside.

Kronos has submitted its 2026 publication set: two companion papers covering the HYPERION D–T spherical-tokamak breeder and the low-neutron D–³He tandem-mirror burner. The breeder paper closes its physics (Q 3.424, 88.7 MW, 9.86 MA); the burner paper closes at the Mode M point (Q_E 1.31, fₙ 5.44%) with the plug-density requirement stated in the open. Both are submitted to IOP; arXiv preprints link on posting.
