Does fusion produce radioactive waste?
Fusion produces no long-lived spent fuel — only activated structures that decay to recyclable levels in about a century. A low-neutron plant produces even less.

Does fusion make radioactive waste?
Far less than fission, and nothing comparable. There is no long-lived spent fuel. The only radioactive material is the reactor's own structure, made mildly radioactive by neutrons; with low-activation materials it decays to recyclable or near-background levels in roughly a century.
How does Kronos compare?
Because Kronos is low-neutron (neutron fraction ~5.25%, about 25× below D–T) and has no breeding blanket, it activates far less material and produces correspondingly less waste than a conventional D–T fusion plant.
Is any of it long-lived, like fission waste?
No. There is no plutonium and no thousands-of-years hazard. The management challenge is short-to-medium-lived activated metal, handled and eventually recycled — a genuinely different, and much smaller, problem.
