Can fusion energy be used to make weapons?
A fusion power plant produces no weapons-usable material — no plutonium, no enriched uranium. Low-neutron D–³He minimizes even the indirect proliferation concern.
Proliferation resistance is a genuine advantage of fusion, and of low-neutron fusion in particular: no fissile material is produced or handled. Combined with abundant, domestic fuel, that makes fusion attractive for energy security without weapons risk.

Can a fusion power plant be used to make nuclear weapons?
No. A fusion power plant produces no fissile weapons material — no plutonium and no enriched uranium. It runs on deuterium and helium-3 and contains nothing that could be diverted into a bomb, unlike some fission fuel cycles.
Isn't there a neutron-breeding concern?
The theoretical proliferation concern with fusion is using its neutrons to breed fissile material in a special blanket. Kronos is low-neutron and has no breeding blanket at all, so even that indirect pathway is minimized. The plant simply isn't built to make weapons material.
What about the physics itself?
Fusion energy research and thermonuclear weapons are very different regimes; a controlled power-plant plasma cannot be turned into an explosive device. The safeguards concern for civil fusion is far lower than for fission.
