
Konstantin Batygin is a Board Advisor, providing oversight to Pure Mathematics & Physics. He is an American astronomer and Professor of Planetary Sciences at Caltech. In June 2008, he graduated with a B.S. degree in Astrophysics, winning the Loren Steck Award for his thesis, "The Dynamical Stability of the Solar System". Konstantin subsequently obtained a Ph.D. degree in Planetary Science in 2012 from California Institute of Technology.
A Professor at Caltech since June 2014 and Co-Founder since February 2021 at Lucinetic. Lives in Pasadena, California, United States. In the year 2004-2008 he graduated from the University of California (Santa Cruz) earning a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics. After graduating he received a master’s degree in science, Planetary Astronomy and Science at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in 2010. After finishing his master's degree, he continued his studies at Caltech and went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Planetary Astronomy and Science in 2012.
He is a visiting scientist at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur in Nice, France. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at Boston MA's Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics from 2012 to 2014.
