About the Role

Location: On-Site / 20% Travel to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: Full-Time (6-Month Temp-to-Hire)


Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support research and development in plasma physics for the enhancement of our fusion energy systems.

  • Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of experiments related to plasma confinement and behavior.

  • Collaborate with senior scientists to develop and refine theoretical models of plasma dynamics.

  • Contribute to the publication of research findings and reports.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in physics, nuclear engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in plasma physics research.

  • Familiarity with plasma diagnostics and simulation tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
