Accountant / CPA

Location: Remote / 20% Travel to Austin, TX or Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: Part-Time (6-Month Temp-to-Hire)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.

• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and tax preparation.

• Optimize accounting processes and systems in collaboration with the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in energy or technology sectors.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
