About the Role

We are Hiring for an Algorithm Developer. This is a full-time remote position.

Algorithm Developer Responsibilities:

- Define applications to maximize the value of residential, commercial, microgrid, aggregated, and utility-scale fusion energy output
- Develop and train algorithms for forecasting, optimization, and control
- Develop production code to run locally and in the cloud
- Debug and tune production systems
- Develop monitoring systems to programmatically detect and diagnose issues
- Inform product definition and business development


Requirements:

- A strong predilection for good software and the processes that make it
- Proven ability to develop and operate production code
- Experience with a wide range of numerical methods for forecasting and optimization
- Fluency in Linux, Git, and Python
- A track record of developing novel products
- A passion for sustainable energy


Bonus Experience:

- Excellence in a couple of other languages
- Big data platforms, Kubernetes, AWS
- Experience modeling power systems, energy storage, or electricity markets
