Robin Fontes

Major General (RET) Robin Fontes serves as a Board Advisor and Founding Partner at Kronos Fusion Energy Incorporated, where she provides oversight for Cyber Security. Prior to this role, she was the Deputy Commanding General (Operations) at the U.S. Army Cyber Command since December 2019.
Major General Fontes graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y., in May 1986, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. Upon graduation, she completed the Military Police (MP) Officer Basic Course. She holds a bachelor's degree from the U.S. Military Academy, as well as master's degrees in International Affairs from the University of Washington and in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defense University.
Her military education includes the MP Officer Basic and Advanced Courses, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the National War College, the Defense Language Institute, and the DIA. Major General Fontes has been recognized with numerous awards, decorations, and badges, including the Defense Superior Service Medal (with two oak leaf clusters), the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal (with three oak leaf clusters), the Meritorious Service Medal (with one oak leaf cluster), the Joint Service Commendation Medal (with one oak leaf cluster), the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Badge, and the Parachutist Badge.
