This led him to BWXT Nuclear Operations Group, Inc., where he served as an Engineer and Project Manager for over twenty years. In 2007, he joined AREVA, initially as a Program and Project Manager. His sterling performance led to his promotion to Project Director, putting him in charge of Nuclear Reactor and Fuel Development Programs.


Continuing his professional development, Martin completed his Master of Business Administration and Global Management from Ashford University in 2016. This has further complemented his engineering background, granting him a holistic understanding of the nuclear energy industry.

With a career spanning over 35 years across various high-consequence energy government and commercial programs, Martin has been involved in the development of pioneering Naval Reactors at BWXT. His comprehensive knowledge in advanced nuclear reactor technologies and his proven expertise in project management form an integral part of Kronos Fusion Energy's foundational strength. After completing his doctoral degree, Florian led experiments at the W7-X stellarator in Greifswald during the second island divertor campaign. As of spring 2022, Florian was promoted to PPPL Staff Physicist and continued his research at the DIII-D National Fusion Facility.

With over 17 years of experience across various industries, I've honed a diverse skill set that includes product management, statistical data analysis, and an extensive understanding of game theory concepts, market positioning, and business intelligence. These competencies guide my strategic executive decision-making and help me steer the Kronos Fusion Energy team toward our shared goal of achieving Q40 fusion energy mechanical gain.


My academic background includes an Executive MBA / PLD from Harvard Business School, which has equipped me with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of fusion energy technologies. Additionally, a pivotal period in my career was my time at Edison International, where I spearheaded end-to-end energy simulations and developed an indelible interest in fusion energy.

With over 17 years of experience across various industries, I've honed a diverse skill set that includes product management, statistical data analysis, and an extensive understanding of game theory concepts, market positioning, and business intelligence. These competencies guide my strategic executive decision-making and help me steer the Kronos Fusion Energy team toward our shared goal of achieving Q40 fusion energy mechanical gain.


My academic background includes an Executive MBA / PLD from Harvard Business School, which has equipped me with the tools necessary to navigate the complexities of fusion energy technologies. Additionally, a pivotal period in my career was my time at Edison International, where I spearheaded end-to-end energy simulations and developed an indelible interest in fusion energy.
